I was looking for a simple, practicall jewelry box with a lot of compartments to hide in the closet because my jewelry is all over the place. For the price, I was actually very impressed with this product. It's easy to lock, easy to open, and I like the mini-box that can be separated out and kept in a separate location as needed. The drawers open well, and the box is compact and portable. This is a good purchase for storage. If you are looking for something to put on display, you may prefer something more wooden. Also, if you have a lot of dangly earrings, this may not be your best bet. It has a lot of compartments for stud-type earrings, but only about 8 or 10 hooks for necklaces and dangly earrings. I had to double up for my dangly earrings.

Good jewelery box for the price. Purchased for wife as a birthday gift. It worked great for the jewellery that she had and the espresso colour matched great with our dresser (as an added bonus)
